What’s New in Elder Scrolls Online Update 36
The target marker system gives players the possibility to put unique markers on themselves, their teammates, and their enemies. You can use this feature when exploring a dungeon, doing a trial, or any time when you are in a group. You can also use it when not in a group. The default key to access the system is the Tab key on the computer or the right D-pad on a game-pad. You can remove the mark by reapplying it. If no target is selected, the mark will be placed on you. The Limit Followers in Town allows players to see fewer pets when they are in a city. You can turn this option on or off depending on your preferences. When the option is on, other players’ pets will not show up on your screen when you are near popular town locations such as the daily writ boards, crafting stations, and such. You can always see your own pets. The hidden pets become visible if their master enters combat. The housing system receives some quality of life improvements. The Retrieval tab can be accessed by visitors. This is found in the browse menu. This tab has three options that are available to visitors if they have permission to edit the house. Inspection Mode is seen if the visitors don’t have permission. You can look in the upper right corner to see info such as the name of the house, who owns it, and how many people are visiting it at the moment. Home links can be shared in chat or as the guild message of the day. You can make a link to your house from the browse mode. House decorations such as those hung on the walls, shelves, banners, and others have been updated to have a more consistent alignment with the surfaces. More PvP armor stations are available in Cyrodiil and the Imperial Sewers. The accessibility menu now has the narrate chat option.
