Daily prizes. Elder Scrolls Online will have a feature that is already part of other MMORPGs. This feature is called daily rewards. Players get small gifts each time they log in. There are even thresholds and milestones that unlock significant rewards like pets, collectible the Elder Scrolls Online items cheap, or crown crates. The reward system resets each month. The daily rewards include alliance points, consumable items, gold, and such. Players can get their rewards from the announcement panel or they can go to the crown store and check out the section called daily rewards. They can also see the special rewards and how many logins are needed to unlock them. Update 18 is applied to the base game so players don’t need the expansion in order to enjoy daily rewards and other features brought by the update. The first reward will be available to claim on the 5th of June.
Gift system. Players will be able to acquire items from the crown store and send them to their friends. This is a premium feature. It is available to those who are Elder Scrolls Online subscribers. It can be unlocked by non-paying members 30 days after buying a crown pack. The gift is returned if not claimed by the recipient within 14 days. The original sender can only gift it once again, it cannot claim it. A new option “purchase as gift” is available. The userID, PSN ID, or Gamertag of the recipient must be introduced. The sender can also include a personalized message.
Combat updates. This update affects how certain weapons and abilities work. It’s good news for two-handed weapons users. From now on, when using a two-handed weapon, it will count for two set bonuses. Classes become more versatile. Some of the tank and healer abilities now provide more bonuses. Light and heavy attacks will be used more often after the update as they have gone through some changes as well.
PvP updates. Players will get more rewards like the Elder Srolls Online gold for participating in Cyrodiil activities. Battlegrounds will become a feature that is not tied to any expansion so players who have the base game only can take part in them as well.
